Tell them "I shave with a straight razor, you've probably never heard of it." lol

Not that it would matter, the glasses generally have plain lenses in just for effect.

22 when I started and I'm 23 now. About a year and a half in and still loving every shave! Except that one when I sliced my jaw real nice.

I had an Sr at about 20 but couldnt get it sharp and although I wanted to use it sat in a draw for years with the odd go to get it shaving. Took till 33 and fed up with irritation to finally get me using that razor when I searched the net and found this site.
Your story sounds similar to mine.

Just on the line at 25, am still yet to meet anyone in person who has straight shaved as only experience has been getting 2 shaves at barber in South Perth. To be honest i like doing/learning skills that are "old school" and happy knowing that it's a sustainable way of doing something throughout my life.

Also if/when the nuclear apocalypse comes i'll be riding a self tuned quad carb motorbike, clean shaven until i run out of fuel.
