Those pens on the side there were finished with the osmo hardwax oil. It seems to be pretty good stuff based on my initial usage. I want to see how it holds up to some use and abuse before I start using it more extensively.

Well a guy in Delaware sells it. Kinda pricey but if your only doing pens and brushes it will last a long time I bet. Seems the wood soaks it up a lot. So I have been doing two coats. It has a long cure time, but it gives a good finish! And it's not crazing over like the ca did in the cold weather. I might try 3 coats just to see what that looks like?

Nice pens! From here it looks like a nice finish. Wonder how it will work on soft wood, or super hard exotics.......?

Well it says it's made for cork too, so I imagine it hardens up the soft stuff too. I'll try it on some hard exotics and see what happens. It took to walnut pretty good.
