    Picked up this little singer at the flea market this weekend-along with some other Solingen blades. I imagine the scales were repurposed.I also got a Klas Thornböm.

    I never used the Pro Guards. I avoided them thinking they would not be sufficient for my beard. I was pleasantly surprised. Got a really good shave. Plus, I did not nick or slice myself. I guess I just suck at using the Feather DX. I need some training wheels.

    First straight shave in an awfully long time, so very satisfying.
    Left index finger is finally starting to feel normal and providing fair sensitive and control during the shave.
