We are NOT enjoying this in the least, this is bad bad bad it is a no win situation now, regardless of the fact that I do believe that he really has lived up to the nickname Obamanation, unfortunately he is still the President of the USA.. What he does reflects on this entire nation as a whole.. The world is not thinking right now "Well heck 50% of America doesn't like him" just like they didn't think that when Bush Jr. was President..

Wanna make me happy here is the way out "Mr President" say this..

"The United States of America stands ready with all her military might to strike in the Middle East, we will leave our Navy and Air Force at the highest state of readiness for 30 days, they will have the ability to launch a crippling attack at any target in the region within 30 minutes... So this is our wake up call to the rest of the civilized world as soon as any 3 countries grow a set, and launch an attack first, the US stands ready to complete the task"

    "the clock starts now"

That is a win situation, drop the ball in the worlds lap don't lay it at the feet of the Congress, Senate, and the American people,, and That was where I thought Obummer made his error... He went to his MO of blaming the US he honestly does not think of himself as an American but as a "Citizen of the World"..

Again Hope and Pray Glen never becomes President

Would that we had a President that would say something like this!

I hope and pray that Glen does become President... or someone like him.

i would prefer it if the us did not get involved, at least not without substantial international support both physically with materiel, and morally. but what if....we all look back at something really horrible and realize we had a chance to do something.

Interesting statement with regards US foreign policy and the current Syria crisis:

"the desire to avoid America in another foreign conflict is understandable. But if that is the policy, the president of the United States should not state that presidents of countries in upheaval (e.g., Bashar Assad) “must go,” should not draw “red lines” and ignore them, should not devise plans to punish rogue leaders but not actually damage their war-making ability, should not promise action and send forces to carry out the action, and then have, in current parlance, a public “conversation” with himself about whether to do anything, and should not thereby abdicate his great office in all respects except the salary and perquisites."

    Interesting....

Syria says it ‘welcomes’ Russia proposal on chemical weapons - The Washington Post

Gotta love the Spin starting here in the MSM, Kerry says he didn't say it for that reason but already the spin is in, if it works within 1 week it will have been Obummer's idea all along

Declassified videos of people killed in the attack are somehow getting some media attention unlike the mass graves in northern iraq. And the total amount of wmd found in iraq was never publicized or if it was, it didnt get media attention.

I'm with you Glen... I can't think of one single thing this administration has done that has truly benefited the US, and every time they get caught with their hand in the cookie jar, they try to deflect the attention to some other matter or spin it so that it looks like it was their idea all along.

Case in point, have so seen any of Holder's statements about the DOJ not going after Colorado or Washington concerning marijuana use, even though there's a federal law against it? But just weeks before, he was decrying Stand Your Ground laws, which are determined BY THE INDIVIDUAL STATES (I'm not trying to argue for or against gun control here, since it is a banned topic, just illustrating a point about our government speaking out of both sides of their mouths). So, Mr. Holder, which side are you on... the one that falls under the direction of the Constitution and advocates States rights or the one who is seemingly taking a play-by-play out of Orwell's 1984 and Animal Farm? I mean, really, is it "All laws are equal, but some are more equal than others..."?

Glenn you're not alone. Surely if the events of the last 3 days were submitted as a movie script it would be laughed at and Peter Sellers would get the lead with John Kerry as the Pink Panther.
