Gin just makes me think of Oliver (the movie), which made me think of Oliver read (famously alcoholic if I recall correctly), which brings me to malta (where he died and popeye was filmed), which brings us to spinach which is nice with poached eggs on toast.

A nice lemon meringue might be nice to cleanse the pallete after the greasy cheese on toast.

Oliver reed was a hard drinker and a brawler and an awesome actor especially as Athos in The Three Musketeers.....and damn they sure don't mak'em that good anymore. You go Oliver !

Similarly, Reed remained sober while filming Gladiator (2000) - intended as a big comeback - but died from a heart attack after allowing himself one final binge."

Gladiator is my favorite movie, I agree Oliver Reed was an amazing actor.
