Bad start for US, but USA is building pressure and now its certainly more USA. Portugal showing some signs of their previous faltering... Pout away, Renaldo.

I was several times in a football stadium with 120.000 people and believe me itīs something i will never forget. One of those times was in a junior world championship against Argentina and it was incredible to ear so many voices cheering Portugal. It was in the game before the final match, i couldnīt get tickets to the final that we won but i heard my friends saying that it was even louder.
May the best team win.

Thanked: 10Now that was a hard fought match. US 2-2 POR. I was hoping we would win that one, but a tie works.

That goal by Jones was stonkingly good.
It was an interesting match, and you can't ask for a more dramatic ending than that. The last round of matches in this group should be interesting, and I'm still hoping my long-shot pick Ghana will still make it.
It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

It was really a no-win situation for me! I can't stand Portuguese football in general and Ronaldo in particular (sorry NunoSa - they have all just dived a few times too many for me in recent years) but at the same time I have a very Canadian tendency to support whomever is playing against the Unitedstatesians. And to make it worse, a Portugal win would have been good for Ghana, which would have made me happy. But a Portugal win would also have made Ronaldo happy, which would pretty much have ruined my day. So really there was no possible good outcome for me today.
So I just hoped for a good match, and in the end they delivered.
