Well The American public got duped twice by an absolute genial orator with almost zero experience in both politics and the private sector. He smooth talked the world into believing the dream and they did. Just maybe we might get lucky with the opposite character. A boorish unapologetic tycoon who loves his country and is sick of us losing. Just maybe crazier things have happened.

No one is looking for a messiah. If he does 10% of what he talks about that will be an improvement. People want jobs perhaps he can bring some back. The current trade agreements are a one way street not going our way. If anyone thinks that clinton will improve anything in this country is not being honest. She has been involved one way or another in everything that has gone on in the last who knows how long. In fact I challenge anyone to name 1 positive thing she has accomplished. At least Trump brings an unknown entity to the table. And lets be honest are you better off now than you were 8 years ago? Is this country better off? I know i'm not. Look at what he has accomplished getting to this point, it was remarkable if you think about it. I would never say never with this guy. I am willing to give it a shot.

Thanked: 369Reminds me of Pelosi's "We won't know what's in it until we pass it" non-sense. Surprise. Now we won't know what he'll do until we elect him, Great. How about Trump University: we won't know what kind of education we'll get until we pay our tuition. Oops, guess that one didn't turn out too well. Guess you won't get a refund until you sue him. Wonderful.
Anyone in the mood for a Trump steak? Washed down with some Trump water? How about some increasingly popular Trump Koolaid? I hear the Oligarchic Orange is the flavor of choice among those in the know.Last edited by honedright; 05-07-2016 at 10:00 PM.

I don't think that is among the things that will happen. The old manufacturing jobs are gone primarily because of better machines. US manufacturing is about the same volume, but it takes a small fraction of the people it used to take.
Amazon runs probably one of the biggest warehouse operations - back in the 60's, 70's, 80s, and 90's it would've required a good number of forklift operators with union wages and benefits. Now they have an army of little red robots that do the same thing at a tiny fraction of the cost.
I expect that after google gets the driverless cars many of the (presently reasonably well paying) trucking jobs will go away as well.
There are things that just can't change that easily.

Thanked: 13246Why Trump will win
Clinton Yesterday in Oakland CA... "Mr Trump has doubled down on his plans to deport 11-12 million "Americans"
Sanders Yesterday.... "I think we are going to win the next 9 states which will put us in a good position to win the nomination
So you have one that doesn't understand the definition of the word "Illegal" or obviously "American" and the other that has no understanding of how "Math" works yep looking pretty good for Trump
