That was on the way to work. I do see a little day light at work. But not much. Yesterday/last night was my last night!

Roy, I hope that picture means spring has sprung and you are getting ready for a glorious ride.

While I've been putting on some nice miles, the iron horse has a 'rattle' that I can't find and it's driving me nuts. The damn noise comes and goes but when it's 'on' it sounds like something should fly off of the bike. Anyone who's worked on mechanical things knows that if it isn't 'Doing It' you can't diagnose it.

I've looked and looked, I've tapped and tapped nothing seems amiss or loose. I've checked the primary chain slack and I believe it's within specs soooooo-----

It's at the bike shop that I trust. The lead mechanic has been working on all brands of bikes professionally for 50 years. I do hope that it's something simple and easy to fix.

I'm still planning on riding out to see Joel (Benz) on the 23rd. First night in Missula MT (after riding up Lo Lo Pass) Second night after a hard ride in Miles City then an easy ride to Joel's in ND.

Got one!! Courtesy of Tc. He brought it with him all the way from TN to give to me three years ago. Thought I had a picture of it but I can't find it.

He did it proper. It has to be given in person, for it to work. Its a real neat tradition, between bikers.

My family is full of um, I've never cared to ride.
