Lightly breaded, and given a bubble bath in peanut oil.
Its been a tradition in our family, since I could remember, and has grown to the point where my dad bought a commercial deep fryer.
Like the ones at McDonalds. 220V and holds 10 gal. of oil, and two baskets. One side for fish, one for hush puppies n fries/ chips.
Then a couple fry daddy's for doing breaded or battered veggies.
Deep fried some watermelon.... Once.. Kinda melted into the batter, but still...not bad.!
It was one of those...here, hold my beer, moments.Last edited by outback; 06-09-2019 at 12:17 AM.

20...!!!! That's a crime, where I stand. Especially for the land of a thousand lakes, and the bluegill the most prolific forage fish in our country, and in every state of the nation.
MN... no wonder, you guys fish year round. And everybody fishes. Ya even put up ice houses, that rival some beach houses and fishing camps I've been in.Mike

That's awesome, Rez.! Looks like a tasty size.
But you'd never get your hands like that, in the gills of a musky. They got teeth, lining their whole mouth, even the throat, and tongue.
A freshwater barracuda, so to say.
