    Miller's Crossing
    That definitely gives it away.

Yes, Miller's Crossing, probably one of my favorite gangster movies of all time.

Yes, I like it too. The first picture *could* have been enough. The upward angle of the shooting was a clue I overlooked. There are better images (more of the Danny Boy sequence) but that would have been an immediate giveaway!

Next one coming up this AM. I had a good one queued up but used it at B&B so need to go back to the well for another.

P.S. This is the movie where I realized what a great actor John Turturro was.

OK, a Black & White. I'm afraid this is too easy so will start with what I hope is a tougher picture...

"Odd Man Out"? It looks like a very "Carol Reed" sorta' shot there.

    Maybe "The Third Man"?

    It looks tantalizingly familiar.

That's not it, but certainly an homage to either Carol Reed / Third Man in particular or that style in general.

Not John Huston. Another hint will come a little later.

    Doh!

I figured it out, but I kinda' cheated to do it (the image reminded me of something, and then I watched the trailer for it on youtube) so I figure I better let someone else have this one.

An excellent movie, by the way.

+1 that! Definitely one of mine.

I'm gonna need that second picture or a hint.
