Kids are really dextrous so they're super good at sewing on buttons and stuff by hand. Plus they look so adorable with their little lunchboxes on their way to work. Better hurry so you'll beat the whistle!

Thanked: 2"If your kid isn't cowering in a corner when you return home from work, you have failed as a parent."
- I would love to claim credit for this, but it's Maddox line if I am not mistaken.

As someone who actually likes a lot about the ACA...I'll try and take a stab at this.
The biggest seemingly legitimate fear I've heard out there is for a long time now our healthcare has been a profit driven business...insurance companies can choose not to cover you if you have pre-existing conditions...or if you have a history of chronic illness...doctors can recommend all kinds of scans, tests, etc whether they are needed or not which just pads their profits...and so on. Since it has been a culture where insurance companies and doctors have made significant amounts of money, this might cut in to that. The line of thought goes that if cuts into their profits are made, the doctors that are in insurance networks will grow fewer, they will all become a cash only business and only "the worst" doctors will stay in an insurance coverage network. So quality of doctors will decline to your average insurance holder because the best doctors will have all started a "cash only" business.
It may be true, it may be fear-mongering...time will tell. To be honest, that has happened before Obama...my mom's doctor is a cash only guy, but whether the ACA will increase this is to be determined. You'll hear a lot of guys say that we will end up with "disastrous socialist health care like the UK and Canada, let me tel you how it is there..." then recant some horror story that happened to some stories they got from somewhere. But 99% of the time these people have never lived in a country with that kind of healthcare...or for that matter even been outside the US unless they went to some resort or fought in a war.

Thanked: 369Please forgive me, of course the law forces only those of us who are "applicable individuals" (an individual other than those exempt by religion, not a citizen of the U.S., or locked up in jail/prison) into the insurance pool.
Correctly not all of us, just most of us.
Per 26 USC sec. 5000A

Thomas Jefferson (1743–1826)
QUOTATION: The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is it’s natural manure.
This is what I am afraid we are faced with.
