It's all good, after the election hang-over subsides, we'll all be friends again discussing some auction, or a new soap/cream we've tried recently, or something remotely related to wet shaving. As for Jimbo's alpha-numeric voting, all I can say is that there were at least 20 local judges on my ballot and not playing a game of name-recognition, I let a flip of a coin decide my choices of who should stay or should go.

Abortion?
This morning I've heard people say they're voting for Romney because Obama is not anti abortion.
Seriously!?!?
I may be missing something, but hasn't this argument been moot ever since Roe vs Wade?
Until such time (in the unlikely event that would ever happen) as the US supreme court decides to revisit that issue, noone's opinion, not even that of the President, matters.
If a president could have done something about abortion, George Bush would already have done it the second he took office. Despite all the other illegal stuff he did, even he didn't go there. So why on earth would anyone let that influence their decision?Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

Thanked: 6I hope Romney wins. I'm not a big fan of either Obama or Romney. In fact they share tons of political views which I oppose, like the NDAA/Patriot act for example.
Romney is just less likely to put "liberal"(read: Anti freedom) supreme court justices. Obama will likely press for more gun control too, and his economic past is also a disaster.
Lesser of two evils and all that.

Thanked: 1936There was a sort of "run" on guns and ammo back then, but the actual shortage on NATO rounds (especially 5.56x45) was due to the action in the proverbial "sandbox". It will happen again if Obama is re-elected, mark my word.
