I think the best thing would be for Obama to get voted out and President Romney to appoint him ambassador to Libya since we have a vacancy there.
Any day on this side of the flowers is a good day!

Rather than ignoring the remark, I think it might be useful to expand it and work from the assumption that neither "Obama bad-Romney good" nor "Romney bad-Obama good" are sufficient as arguments.
What substantive policy issues lead you (and I don't mean capital-Y You, Hirlau, but rather all voters) to support the candidate of your choice? I think a political discussion has to throw out those kind of simplistic arguments if it has any chance of being productive.
And again, this isn't aimed at anyone in particular, just a general comment on the current state of western democratic politics and its coverage in the media. We deal with much the same thing up here as well at times, although it usually isn't quite as extreme. Yet.
It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

First, the "Obama bad-Romney good" nor "Romney bad-Obama good" has never been my position, let alone a point I would argue with anyone. That phrase was tossed in my yard by Ryan82.
Second, political discussions rarly result in anything positive on forums.
Third, the OP did not lead me to believe that I needed to justify my political beliefs on this thread. I responded to BigSpendur's OP because he left it quite vague, a good thing to do, especially the night before the most important election in America's history.
Fourth, the cartoon of the sleeping man & clock was to add a little humor, as I often try to do on threads that tend to "Heat The Kitchen" , so to speak. If it would make members happy, I can gladly add a Pro Obama cartoon, with a good point of his career,,,,,take it mind you,,,that it might take a while to find one, but I can deliver a Pro Obama point.

Nothing to be sorry for, we (All SRP Members) are brothers of the razor.
We are from all over the world, under different political governments.
If we sat at the table together, to break bread, our discussion would not be of politics;
it would be of the fishing & woods of Canada....and.....the beauty of my Gulf Coast.
