Yep, those are the guys I got the seeds from!! The Hippy Seed Company in Australia. They "taste test" all their peppers, there's a video with each seed description on their site, all very entertaining. Great seeds, more germinated than expected with the help of a heat pad.

As I've said via email, they wouldn't be the same as grown here in our valley due to many factors.
At the top of the list is soil and growing conditions. While they were planted last September in WW soil they finished their days in Tennessee soil and TN growing conditions.
I figure that Glen has at least 2 weeks maybe 3 until his are ready due to the cooler growing conditions.
Tc, I was wondering if you could show pictures as to how yours look and how big they grew for you?

Ah, red radishes, one of my dad's favorites! He used to eat them all by themselves, he's put some salt on a plate then touch the radish to the salt and enjoy them.
We knew that the Drs. were right and that we would soon lose him when even his beloved radishes didn't sound good to eat.Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdins cave of 'stuff'.

Well it's not really 'From the Garden' as it's from the freezer and I didn't raise the trees however last year (or so) my youngest daughter brought over Bingman Cherries that were 'pitted' and I put them in the freezer and would make jam 'later'.
Well later didn't come and so a year or maybe two later I thawed them out and made some jam.
I didn't use any Pectin, just some white sugar and a bit of cinnamon and just slowly simmered the mixture till it was thick.
Here's the mixture close to done in the cast iron pot;
I got Three Pints + a little for the fridge.
I said 'Pitted' as I found about a dozen pits as I was cooking the mixture down.Last edited by cudarunner; 06-29-2016 at 02:17 AM.

While it only ONE my tomatoes are starting to turn, I've got a bunch that are turning 'whitish' which means that they are on their way. Now if the rain will stop and the temp warm up
I'm sure looking forward to burgers with fresh tomatoes and fresh salsa, if things go well hopefully next year I can have an actual garden instead of trying to grow in pots and the small 'flowerbed' in the front of the apartment.

Rainfall for the State of Michigan June 2016 1". SE Michigan needs 5" to grow.
No strawberries for the rhubarb.
Finally the rain came 2" in 2weeks. Look at what at little rain will do.
Blackberries, Yellow squash and Leaf lettuce.

Pepper update, it's been a couple weeks since the last pictures and the peppers are coming on strong. The bees have been busy and we have tons of pods going now.
