Thread: 51 MG restoration.

It’s amazing, considering how winter are that everything does green up as well, and quickly as it does up here. And I thank you for saying it. I wouldn’t say it’s the prettiest place to live, but I do enjoy the roads up here in the warm weather.
At 1:20th in the video, on the left side of the road you will see the motel that was used in Schitt’s Creek. For those that watched that show.

The new dash cam I picked up workers pretty well, and after I taped over the mic inlet, the wind noise isn’t too bad. Fairly stable video, considering it’s just stuck on the windscreen.
Cuts everything into 5 minute clips, and aside from that annoying emergency alert when i was cornering, I like the footage it provides.

With all of the changes that you and the previous owners have made I would call it a customisation.

Fair, but from the chassis perspective she was a restore.
All 51 MG in her looks and cosmetics. The custom work was all power plant and performance.
Basically a tr3 hidden in a mgTD chassis now.
A RestoMod might be the most accurate descriptor for her..

Makes sense to me. At least no one can call it a Rat Rod!

I guess in Canada Stops signs are optional. LOL

funny thing, everywhere I drive they are optional.

Here they made it optional for bicycles so they might as well for cars!

Boy I get that. In my old BMW 1600 the synchro gear between 1st and 2nd was gone so you had to know how to shift it to keep from hearing, "GRIND ME A POUND OF THAT!" from passing motorists.
