What's the red.one in the background of the second pic Mike? Looks kind of like a Ferrari 488 but hard to tell.
...or maybe an Aventador but it looked like the Ferrari emblem.Last edited by PaulFLUS; 10-13-2022 at 01:33 PM.

Thanked: 4206The one behind the Porsche was a lotus, not sure which modern iteration but they had nothing but $$ cars there. At least a dozen Porsches on the lot from the 356 right on up to modern..
Even the saddest Porsche was still beyond my range, sigh..
One day maybe.
Cheers..
Seems the internet stick works up here!

Nice! I have always loved the E-Type Jaguar. As you said, maybe one day.
The owner of the shop where my wife took her Volvo told a story: when he was first in business he had a customer, a British couple, that had an E-Type they had since it was new and if I recall he said they still had it at that time. They brought it with them from England and they hired him to work on it at their home in their garage. He had been a British Leyland mechanic before starting his own shop. Part of his pay was lunch consisting of a pint of beer and a butter and pickle sandwich.Iron by iron is sharpened, And a man sharpens the face of his friend. PR 27:17

Yeah huge hood and front fenders. He had a red one in his shop which is what started the conversation. I always like the British racing green personally

Yep, You finished just in time, Mike!
Nice weather here too. Had not washed the old Model A since Covid. The millwork shop behind my shop will dust a car overnight..
Hosed it off, took it to a car wash and slathered it with Simple Green and blasted it off. Then, hand washed it twice. Sucker is STILL dirty!
A local car show was Saturday, so flivered over. Lots of high-dollar cars there for the trophies, but old folks and kids love it, though.
Blasted off the wolf whistle every hour!
No..That's not me. Just an admiring Hombre.

Thanked: 4206Shame for letting her get dirty Tom, although she was born to be dirty I’d imagine.
Such a gorgeous truck that is..

It looks pretty good from a running horse, Mike. 30 year-old amateurish acrylic enamel.
Still shiny, though. The volume of dust around here is crazy!
