Thanked: 8Ok I was thinking thats what you were talking about. Its not New Belgium Abbey, its just New Belgium Brewing Company, they are based about an hour away from my house. Fat Tire is one of my favorite beers. The Springboard seasonal is a great light ale for the hot summer days.

Greetings Gents
I hope you don't mind me joining the beer discussion. Before I moved to Wales I lived in the West Midlands which has loads of Micro-Brewerys and excellent ales. Guess my favourites are Sarah Hughes' "Dark Ruby" (formerly Ruby Mild) and Enville Ale which is a honey based brew. There is also a very, very dark one called Gothic but I can't remember who brews it. You can lift this pint to a really bright light and still not see through it.
When I went to Canada 2 years ago I worked my way through the ENTIRE Red Rock catalogue, well except the Grasshopper as I don't like Lager, but the Jackrabbit had a nice kick to it.

OK KO! Any European brewery is a micro by Stateside standards
Only two breweries in our home town. Brains (Brains Beers - Traditional cask beers produced in Wales by Brains), who also sponsor the national squad, brew SA (aka Skull Attack locally & quaffable) Dark (deceptive) amongst other fine ales. Bullmastiff, who have no site, brew amazing gluggable beer with names like Dog's Bollocks & Son of A Bitch., ,
