Ambers Brewing Company here in Edmonton has a couple of really good ones. I like the chocolate stout, mountain pepper berry lager, and the sap vampire lager. All packed with flavor but easy drinking.

I've resently had the pleasure of trying Fraoch Scottish Heather Ale... well i got no words for it but... DAMN GOOD and it's thought to be the oldest still being brewed ale/beer in the world it has been being brewed in Scotland since 2,000 BCE.

If you can get ahold of it i suggest giving it a try it's worth the money it's a bit on the pricey side and only comes in a 4 pack, but well worth it IMHO. Even friends of mine that don't like beer or ale like it.

I was just down at a lovely English Pub last Friday, and had some fantastic ale...Abbot's Ale, and Old Speckled Hen. Some easy drinking stuff, that...

Best I ever had though was on the brewery tour of Samuel Smith's in Tadcaster, North Yorkshire. They let you pull your own pints, until you couldn't find your way behind the bar. Lovely lovely stuff...

My favorite styles are stouts, porters, nut browns, and barleywines. Of those, there are too many to list specifically, but definitely Guinness, Rogue Ales, and Sierra Nevada would be good places to start!

Ok well I have a few,

For the every day cold beer, after I cut the grass or wash the car it is a Coor Light. They go down smooth and taste good.

The before dinner beer of choice for me is: Black and Tan Guiness/Bass

The during dinner beer would be: Guiness

The occasional micro brew would be: Magic Hat #9 or Dogfish Ale

There is a small micro brewer in Ulster county NY that has a Huegenot Lager that is also to die for. After a cold one or two I usually buy a Growler to go...

Every day beer is a Coors Light, watch the mountains turn BLUE

It's definitely a good Munich Weißbier for me. Franziskaner is possibly my favorite, but there's a lot to be said for Paulaner and Erdinger and others. Basically, if I go to Munich and order a Weißbier, I am happy.

Unfortunately, they're a bit harder to get in the US and are generally expensive, which sucks. I'll second the Magic Hat #9 as a good microbrew; we often have a few in the fridge.

right now i'm really into Fat Tire (New Belgium Brewing)

easy drinking beer with tons of flavor

I love Guinness but only in Ireland or Auckland NZ as it loses flavor the farther you get from a brewery...lol
