Thread: Dogs!

I have a greyhound... a retired racer. Her track name was Lazy K Hero Val, but we just call her Valerie. 144 races: 19 wins, 17 places, and 22 shows, which is better then the majority of dogs.

Her last race was Aug 2017, and her gotcha date was Sep 17th of that year, so we pretty much got her straight off the track in Alabama.

She's a sweet girl, loves her 2 cats (picture with her buddy Baxter below), and cant get enough of sleeping on my wife and I in the most obnoxious ways. In fact, in these pics, notice the common theme? Sleep... she really is retired!

I've been working from home a couple days a week, and one of the joys is hanging out with our dog, a Blue Heeler/ Rottweiler Mix rescue named Hap. Early this morning I saw him sitting on the deck, enjoying the sun and sniffing the air, and quickly snapped a photo.

This is our French bulldog Oonagh, who we rescued when she was about 3 months old. She loves everyone and loves hiking. She a bit over a year and a half and a ball of fire.
