Congratulations Roy!! Welcome to SRP Travis - you have yourself a very good human there. Well chosen.
It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

Well so far we are getting along quite well. He's slowly stopping getting up to follow me every time I move from point A to point B. He's only put his paws on the exposed part of the couch once and hasn't since I corrected him.
He did take a short nap in the chair but after a bit wanted out to check things out in the back and do a bit of 'duty' and laid down on his bed once he got back inside.
I believe that my advantage is just like the difference between apples and oranges or in this case Dogs and Cats as they are entirely different creatures who react very differently.
If you want a good presentation on the differences, check out George Carlin's Dogs and Cats at YouTube. It's a crappy video but pretty right on the money as to the different animals. Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdins cave of 'stuff'.

Congratulations to both of you. Hope you have many years of happiness together. Am Staff is a good possibility but the face looks a little like a Dogue de Bordeaux.

My son Danny also just adopted a new friend. He is just nuts about that little dog. I've never seen him so attached to anything or anyone (pet-wise that is)
He's such a cute little guy, all 4 pounds of him.

Cool looking K9 ya got there, Roy. Mixed, and runts, always seem to make great companions, in my experience. I bet he's a riot when he gets wound up.

Growing up we never had any dog with a pedigree, they were always mixed breeds, mutts etc. However they never seemed to have problems with their hips or such like so many highly bred dogs do. Hell my oldest daughter's 11 year old boxer is getting so crippled up and she knows the end is near but is still holding off.
Speaking of mutts-------------
I hope all will enjoy this blast from the pastLast edited by cudarunner; 12-02-2020 at 02:46 AM.

Please forgive me for hogging this thread--
Travis seems to now 'Prefer' His Chair to his bed and responds to the command of "Get in your chair".

No apologies needed Roy. When a dog adopts a new human, that human gets right of way here for a while.
