Looking into protection training. His mom, my black gsd, is trained to hit a bite sleeve by me...I just can't get him to commit. I really think he may be thinking he will hurt me or its wrong to do anything other than mouth me. The female hits hard, but will not hold a bite like I would like.

It’s cold outside, but the fire is keeping the place warm and these guys are very comfortable.

Hap is my daughter's Blue Heeler, Rottweiler mix. He loves to sleep on his back with all exposed, what I call his Hap Nap.

We also have a Dachshund (I've had at least one for the past 67 years) who likes to snuggle with him. He puts up with it for awhile, then will get upon the couch to get away from her. She tries to boss him around, will try to steal his toy and can be jealous when he gets the attention, but he'll just ignore her ridiculous weenie behavior.
