I would love a doberman but I fear that with the very active nature of the breed and the nature of working my way through college I may not be able to give it the amount of exercise and attention that it deserves. I'm looking at a couple of bigger breeds that tend to be more of couch potatoes.

I have a cute female Dalmatian that we rescued 6 years ago from animal shelter. She was 3 months old and was given as a gift to a young boy. His grandfather freaked out and drove her to a shelter on sunday and we picked her up on monday. She was a cute little puppy and I just couldn't resist her look. Being a Dalmatian I called her Pika (translated as Spots to english). I believe that she is not pure blooded as she looks too strong for a Dalmatian. She enjoys nature, swimming, sun bathing and chasing smaller animals (especially birds).
Anyway, this is the look I wake up to every morning, when I visit my parents:

I got a new puppy recently. She came from the local German Shepherd rescue and is really shy. She has come out of her shell around other dogs and people that she sees regularly.
Both dogs:

well this new addition has been in hiding the last few days from the kids , couldnt keep him from them anymore so we pre wrapped a box , cut the top off , placed him inside while the kids were outside and then slapped a bow on it and called them in .. they grabbed the lid and he came out like a jack in the box with bone in mouth ..lol.. the bone kept him not movin around and from making noise , never thought he'd bring it out with him ..lol..
