They're scared for good reason.
24 years old...my son's age. Damn sad story. It just breaks my heart. Here's the story:

Thanked: 1081Sorry to hear about Travis and Buddy not liking fireworks, most animals don't. A trick I learned is to put a fireworks display on YouTube on the TV to get animals used to hearing the loud bangs. Works with nervous too.

Thanked: 556When we are travelling with our RV during the July 4 celebrations in the US, we put the dogs in the trailer, close the binds and crank up the A/C and the radio. Either they can’t hear the fireworks or we can’t hear them. It works.

I've increasingly come to the conclusion that fireworks are little more than arseholes scaring the hell out of pets so they can look briefly at shiny things. Personally, I'd be happy if no one in town ever set another off.
This may have nudged me one rung further up the ladder towards full-on curmudgeondom.
It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

Thanked: 4206Sam has settled into his alpha male protector role very well at my sisters house.
His family is now my sister and niece and he will protect his girls.
He’s really growing quite fast.
As is Mr Murphy I can see in that last pic!"Depression is just anger,, without the enthusiasm."

Travis making himself at home when I went to help a friend with hauling crap.
Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.
