That is way too gross for me!
Years ago I had one pipe. I never even knew they should be cleaned and I have been smoking a pipe, at that time, for over 6 years. I could only fit my pinky in the bowl and it had never even seen a pipe cleaner so the draw was almost completely blocked off. Nasty!

Then I started cleaning all the time and I mean CLEANING. My pipes barely got a chance to break in. There was another lesson.

For the past 7 years I l found a balance that works and my pipes are all in great shape and smoke wonderfully.

I have been smoking a pipe for over 30 years now.

I smoke sporadically so just run a pipe cleaner through a few times then leave a cleaner in the stem. Once a year or so i'll fill the bowl with Deniclean solution for a few hours and run it through the stem too.

Muttnchop does a good basic job of how to clean. I bookmark him and will watch some other vids.

That is looking a bit rough. Windex works good.

Sort of my franken if it falls in the lake I am not going to dive to far after it lighter.

January 2013 guts with a Oct 2013 case.

For some reason I thought a blackcase would look good but after slamming against change and pocket knives the paint looks like crud.

Some where around here are the other parts put together if I needed to reunite them....
