Just another aspect of pipe smoking that I enjoy doing. For years I grew tobacco and also purchased whole leaf and processed it myself and then blended it. It was great fun but eventually I got tired of processing it and just bought blending leaf already processed from C&D and have been blending this way for the past 3-4 years.

Like I said, it is a whole other aspect of pipe smoking that I enjoy.

    Default Ser Jacopo & Stonehenge

From the late 80’s coral dot era when the late Giancarlo Guidi was designing pipes. They use a flexible drill so bent pipes are drilled spot on. A pipe cleaner pushes through effortlessly without having to twist or bend it like many others. One of my favorites.

Exactly. I have one that takes many tries to get a cleaner all the way through. Very frustrating and I will probably send it to someone to straighten the bore at some point.

I have one with a cleaner stuck in the bit. Will have to take it to a pipe guy to fix. Luckily, Stem and Briar is just down the road. Jaime is very, very good at repairs.

I have grown some of my own and have had some drying in the top of my garage for years. Can you point me in a good direction on the processing end of things?

Well, that is a pretty huge topic to tackle in this thread (curing, casing, topping, cutting, pressing, etc) but I would love to. Shoot me a PM with your email address and I would be happy to help.
