As I sit here in my favorite smoking spot puffing on it. I like it a lot. It smokes cool unless I go at it like the mad hatter. It seems to taste good no matter what blend I put in it. It's got a very easy draw and a very nice weight. As a warning I cannot compare it to much I've only ever had a Missouri meerschaum and a dr grabow but it easily blows them out of the water. It's the only one I reach for except when I smoke aromatics.
No that pistol isn't the only thing under my kilt, but I can tell you both of them work just fine

Thanked: 1185Cornell and Diehl Old Joe Krantz in a Whitehall Grand National. Increasingly this is pretty much my go to tobacco, occassionally I'll smoke something else just for a change but it never seems to take very long for me to pull the OJK back out. Great stuff.
Regarding Bow Legged Bear, as much as I'd love to smoke really heavy latakia blends they just don't agree with me. Purple Cow (also C&D) is another good thick latakia blend. Something with a bit less latakia is more to my liking. Billy Budd, and Epiphany are what I reach for typically when I'm in the mood for a darker tobacco. In fact, since the cooler weather is here, Billy Budd is probably my next tobacco order. For some really good stuff try Riverboat Gambler, my old friend Bob Runowski blended many great tobaccos but RG is probably his best work. The older I get, the better I was
