The war is over, sacrifices were made, but life eventually returns to normal. I thought I would put up a photo of what my tobacco money has paid for. The long awaited relication of my grandfathers medals. After sending a photo of these off to my Aunt she was so proud of what I had done, and so moved by the tribute, that she is now sending me my grandfathers original medals for safe keeping.

Nice one! Bet that first bowl tasted extra special after the wait and was ripe with satisfaction. The medals look great, it's good to see others do things like that to remember and honour loved ones...

As some of you know I've been revisiting some of the tobacco I had previously put aside saying they weren't my thing. Well after revisiting Mississippi mud I've found I love this blend. With about 6 months on the tin the problems with lighting and hot burning have disappeared and the taste is excellent. It's defiantly been a big factor in me deciding on picking up more C&D blend when I make my next purchase. Tomorrow I'll retry SG chocolate flake.

    Hi gents

I have another pipe smoking query. If one wished to put out a pipe halfway through and return to it later is this doable? As in if my boss lady shouts me to do something can I put it out and return later to enjoy the rest of it?
