Saturday evening pipe. Wifey's out somewhere at the lady evenings so i feel like a winner and relax with the pipe, beer & book.
Smoking some Warrior Plug from Karl Erik pipe. Good and strong stuff.
The beer is unfiltered rye beer; brewed after medieval recipe. Such an interesting taste but goes well with the pipe.
And the book is 'Returning to Earth' by Jim Harrison. One of my favorite writers.

Since I shaved with a Gillette Tech this morning and compared it to Prince Albert it seemed only fitting. PA in a cob.The older I get, the better I was

Hey fellas, here's the inaugural bowl from what I've named the "Philth Avenue" cob, courtesy of our boy Nose Warmer:
Sorry to show my ugly mug again, but I wanted to give an idea of the proportions of this beast, I didn't realize how big it was from the pics that NW sent me. Since it's big enough to accomodate an entire navy flake, that's what I ran through her. It's always been one of my favorite tobaccos, but I've always had a problem with gurgle when smoking it-- not with this bad boy! Even if I never smoke any other toby through it (which, of course, I will), the fact that it handled the navy flake so well, has earned it a permanent spot in my rotation. Thanks Phil!

That is a good looking pipe... It even goes with you Chay... It's amazing how a new stem makes them smoke... I did clean the varnish and cut the shank over hang off in the bowl... Hopefully that will make it a better smoke for you... Originally Posted by chay2K
