    Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated...

    That is what is all about: small local breweries. Ours make some interesting beers every now and then, available only limited time. If you get back to the shop after a month or two, they will be all sold out for good. Of course there's always something new to discover.

    That is what i've tried to do when traveling: to find out if there's any local breweries. A world full of new tastes.

    We have somewhat good selection of US beers available, depending on a shop, with all that Samual Adams selection and all. Some are pretty good.
    Makes me think about all those beers that will never get their way here. And not just beers. Would be great to visit USA some day.

    Actually my wife has been talkin about it for years. She would liketo see New York. For a woman who doesn't speak English a word that sound like lunatic
    I would personally like to see Alaska, Yellowstone and Niagara Falls. And i've seen and read so many stories and documents about Route 66 that it would be great to drive it some day.

    Me, like almost everyone here, has family members that have moved to US. Mine has never kept any contact to their former home land so i guess they do not want to remember their roots. That is a shame, but i wouldn't want to surprise them by showing behind their door, just to say hi!

    @Tomi and the other Europeans
    The last 10 years we always used the services of this travel agency:
    USA Mietwagen Rundreise | usareisen.de - Die Amerika Profis
    You can create your own trip, if you like but they also offer some interesting trips.
    ...and the agents speak several languages...
    ...and they have special offers for rental cars...

    I've been to all those places Tomi, and even for a country lad like myself, I found New York interesting. Yellowstone is like stepping back into time, and you sort of expect a dinosaur to come out at you. A strong smell of sulpher and boiling mud. Alaska is amazingly pure and wild and Niagara needs to be seen from Canada to really get the full glory...Or from down below and looking at it from the water. Route 66 is just a back road and not well kept, sadly.

    I'm enjoying a few fingers of Knob Creek tonight, myself. Would you be so kind as to describe the Kickin' Chicken?

    True enough about route 66. Some places of interest are sprouting up however in an effort to revive it's charm....but it's not like what it was in the 50's-60's.
