Thanks - so the pith itself is okay as the base? i wondered if it would be too porous. If not, then way easier to leave it.

POTD at work. Warrior plug from estate Masta pipe.
And little bigger pipe too. Work mate posing by the Obuhov 305 mm naval gun. Nowadays deactivated.

Planting is good............Potato soup for the future and all. If I had a yard, I would be out in the garden every day smoking my pipe and gardening away !

Once again a trip to the Ore Mountains to the Blauenthal-waterfall
We love the silence there
About the Diesel engine of my 2,8 l CRD Rubicon:
In the moment there is a gas milage of 20 mpg, but I think it will be some more with the 2,8 l CRD. I often drove offroad and in the mountains. If we drive more miles at the HWY and "Autobahn" the Diesel-engine brings much more mpg. I think 23-24 mpg will be possible.Last edited by eTom; 05-09-2013 at 05:09 PM.
