Irish Oak has a sweet-sour tin smell, but I jar all my tobacco so once it has had time to settle down you get typical VaPer notes plus a little of the oak it was aged in.

I transferred both tobaccos into glass jars and left them to dry a bit as they seemed a bit too moist and sourness was gone.
I smoked 2 bowls of Connoisseur's Choice yesterday and I really enjoyed it. It had a sweet fruity punch at the beginning which I really liked. And room note is girlfriend approved, which is a big plus.

Old Joe Krantz in a four digit (pre-1938) Kaywoodie. Gin and Tonic chaser. The skeeters are coming, need my quinine, can't be too careful with malaria you know.
My recommendations for Peterson Tobaccos:
University Flake- Good for the occassional sweet tooth. A nice aromatic with plenty of full flavored smoking
Irish Flake- A good straight up pipe tobacco. Definitely all the vitamin N a growing boy needs.The older I get, the better I was
