Thanks - so the pith itself is okay as the base? i wondered if it would be too porous. If not, then way easier to leave it.
    Thankyou,

Planting is good............Potato soup for the future and all. If I had a yard, I would be out in the garden every day smoking my pipe and gardening away !

I would think that might help with a bottom cake... Or I guess some pipe mudd could work?

About the Diesel engine of my 2,8 l CRD Rubicon:
In the moment there is a gas milage of 20 mpg, but I think it will be some more with the 2,8 l CRD. I often drove offroad and in the mountains. If we drive more miles at the HWY and "Autobahn" the Diesel-engine brings much more mpg. I think 23-24 mpg will be possible.
