It does take a little practice to get used to. It is easy to overload a pipe this way.
Thanks for the reply. I haven't tried flake tobacco yet, but hope to at some point.

I haven't ever been able able to find out what is the real difference between Canadian and Liverpool pipes?

    OldGI,

Ya gotta love a guy with a cup full of pencils next to his computer monitor!

I was listening to The Allman Brothers on a turntable. I loaded film into my camera, poured fuel into my zippo, packed my pipe and stropped my razor. On occaision I've locked myself in the office and reloaded more rounds than I'll ever live to fire. My ex thinks I'm crazy. My offspring think I'm eccentric but, charming. Others say luddite or anachronism. I prefer "traditionalist". Newer ain't always better! But, life is rich and "Walter" is my hero. Against the grain my brother!

    So says oldschooltools.

Oops i happily forgot. No worries. I'll surprise when she least expects IWD is not so popular here; just one of those 'imported' celebrations. All my respects for the women, and specially mine: after being together with the lady for so long time it is more like everyday is the women's day.

Another beautiful pipes introduced in this thread. The one on the right looks interesting with the nice shank. What is it made of?
I know that there are pipes with such shank is made of horn, but those would be out-of-budget for me. This must be something else. Bamboo?

Just the morning pipe and coffee right now, with some magazines with interesting stories.
