My current neighbor is a stoner and enjoys blasting music at obnoxious levels at unholy times of night. Everyone living around him routinely has words with him.
On a happier note. I began the morning with a bowl of granger and a cup of strong coffee. I think this blend is going to force me to get a nice pipe for my OCB blends. After a bit of a long day I rounded it up with a cob of Chocolate Flake. Instead of rubbing it out I chose to test the fold and stuff method, and have found I prefer to rub it out and let the flake dry a little longer. As some of you may have guessed I tend to prefer my tobacco on the dry side. I'll post pictures in the morning. Have a lovely weekend gents.

No that pistol isn't the only thing under my kilt, but I can tell you both of them work just fine

Tore up Arturo Fuente 858 in a 7713B Kaywoodie. Naviera (Cuban coffee) on the side. Got up this morning and put dinner in the crock pot. We're going Cuban this evening with some Ropa Vieja (the Cuban version of pot roast) with black beans and rice. Should be a wonderful dinner.

MacB Cherry Ambrosia in my Brigham 224. Not sure if I'd buy this tobacco again.

Once I move into the apartment it will be much easier to smoke but now I've got to walk either around a mile to my car in the parking lot or go to the top of the parking garage across the street. It's not the walk thats bad or even really annoying, its these bloody college kids that assume if you have a pipe you have pot. I digress OJK, Billy and BandB are definitely at the top of my want lists.
I had a similar experience recently. Bloke said to me, "Man that's really nice what your smoking. What are you mixing it with?" I gave him the straight of it, and told him to lay off the grass. It'd do his head in. I suspect that that bit of advice was a few years too late though.

Well I don't normally like to post without a photo, but I neglected to take one and now it's too late. However after a few solid days of working from can see to can't see on one of the properties just tidying the place up around the five acres of house yard (You try mowing an over-grown five acre house yard some time! Joy of joys that is!) It was nice just to sit back in the shade of a Jacaranda tree after having a big drink of water from the water bag hanging from one of the low branches, and settling in to a coffee from the thermos and some of my favoured Cherry Cav in my Peterson system (It's become my go to work pipe). It was nice there, at the end of a long, hard day in the shade of that tree smoking, drinking coffee and watching the flocks of Budgerigars coming in to see what food they could find, out on the freshly mowed paddock.

Nice Peterson. I just ordered the same Zippo!

My recently acquired Peterson 314 estate pipe is still drying out after its salt/alcohol treatment and my tongue is healing from a really tasty, but bitey straight VA I had too much of on Saturday. Those pictures aren't helping me stick to skipping a smoke today.
