I know, guys, I know... It's just that I don't drink alone (except beer, which is not technically drinking).

But despair not! I got together with my good friend last night and we cracked it open and sipped some while enjoying a good cigar and a few games of pool.

    Good times!

    Good for You!
I am sure it didn't disappoint. I haven't had the pleasure as of yet but it is supposed to be a great whiskey.

    Good times!

I was going to volunteer to drive down so you didn't have to drink alone. That Scotch is very smooth. Enjoy!!!

First adult beverage for a couple days (except hot totties of course which don't count). Jimmy Beam and Ginger Ale

As a lesson learned this week, as good as Jameson's Irish Whiskey is, it doesn't work very well at all for a totty. Makers, Jimmy Beam or one of the "harsher" bourbons seems to be what works best. Mom always made them with Jim Beam and I kinda hated to relegate Makers Mark to the role of medicinal booze so I find myself in possession of a bit of Jim Beam.

Tonight I broke out a bottle of Chieftain's 31 yr old cask strength. I don't know too much about it other than it's distilled by Springbank, it's unchill filtered and it tastes very good.
