Just catching up to this thread. Been buying and flipping watches for far too long. Have run the gamut of styles and manufacturers. Lots of fun over the years. Had to recently get rid of a few nice pieces because my aging eyes were fighting to read the chronograph dials. I'm now sitting with these 2. Not sure I'm going to make any changes but you never know.

This one is my weekday business attire watch.

Keep your concentration high and your angles low!

Despite the high cost of living, it's still very popular.

Beautiful - Rolex, assuming they are automatics....hey, I've got a few big W&B's that would look as good in your hand as one of those Rolex's would look on my wrist.....

Thanks Phrank. Automatic movements for sure. I've owned a few manual wind movements over the years but as with my eyes my memory sometimes failed to remind me to wind them. Next thing I know I'd be late for something so they had to go. For me automatics fit the bill.

Well I've got some mighty fine W&B's, no doot aboot it, but just don't happen to have a couple of thousand W&B's lying around....

Those are two gorgeous timepieces....I've always liked the stainless steel Daytona Chronograph, that one has always made my knees buckle....

I may have posted it here before but this last year I remembered my wedding anniversary but had to be reminded again because I forgot to advance the date on my watch at the beginning of the month and thought it was tomorrow!

A lot of folks used to flip watches unfortunately it's very difficult to come out ahead these days for a variety of reasons. The only exception is Rolex. You can always get your money back on them or make money depending on how long you have them.

    Nice pieces you have there.

Thanks again. You're right the SS Daytona is a sweet watch. Very popular amongst the watch collector crowd.

LOL. It's the only issue I have to remember to do with an automatic unless you pick up a perpetual calendar movement but then you're talking mega bucks.

Thanks. Flipping can definitely be costly if it's the wrong watch. I've experienced both sides of that. I think my flipping days are over unless something really interesting happens this year a Basel.

    Nice. Those are good choices.
