And James Bond always wore a Rolex IIRC....

    You're kidding right?

James Bond from old school always wore Rolex, just recently he went Omega IIRC...

Bond used a Rolex in several movies: Dr. No, From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, Thunderball, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Live and Let Die, The Man with the Golden Gun, Licence to Kill, The Living Daylights.

No. He also wore a Gruen and a Heuer and actually several Seikos and I think Roger Moore wore a Pulsar too.

If I recall, Ian Fleming himself always wore a Rolex Oyster Perpetual Explorer, but for the character of Bond, it had to be a Rolex, and hence, you see him with the Submariner for so many years, before product placement in films really took off.

So many of the the watches Q made always had some interesting aspects, never forget the one with the garrotte.

But Bond has always been synonymous with Rolex, as in at least 9 films he wore them in.....

But yeah, he really wore a variety of watches....sheesh, makes me cringe to see these old digitals:

James Bond wore a Rolex Submariner in Live and Let Die, Roger Moore's first Bond movie.

With a circular saw as a bezel and a high intensity magnet.

    See you next month.....

In Ian Fleming's books Bond wore a Rolex Oyster, in the movies a lot of different brands as mentioned above.

I was lucky enough to get to try the Rolex DateJust YG today.
A beautiful watch but at 36mm I felt it was a little small om my wrist.

Here is one of my watches - my only "dive watch" that I use when scuba diving.

This one and a Timex I use when backpacking are my only battery watches - the other 2 are manual or automatic.
