And Murder In the First, when the prison warden cuts open Kevin Bacon's achilles tendon. Ouch.

Apparently they're coming out with a new version of Sweeny Todd, with Johnny Depp as the barber.

How strange, I watched "Running Scared" last night, one of the first scenes is some guy on the floor reaching over and cutting through the Achilles tendon.
A very underated movie by the way its very fast paced and action all the way.

You just know that Johnny Depp will play Sweeney Todd to the Max, Ray Winstone played Sweeney Todd in a dramatisation on British TV last year and he looked as though he really knew how to use a straight

I'll second your praise of Running Scared. It's very similar to Lucky Number Slevin and I loved both flicks.

I loved Lucky Number Slevin. Who was in Running Scared I don't remember the title.

Gotta say, I loved that whole pedophile scene in Running Scared. The whole event seemed rather surreal. Couldn't have thought of a better ending for that scene.

If you think I'm weird, watch the movie. I don't want to give it away, so I can't really explain it all out.

Mostly unknowns.. The main character is the guy from The Fast and the Furious I & II. However, his acting was decent in this one.

I just saw that one the other day. Amazing how that show is still a good watch after seeing every episode so many times.

I recall another Stooges short where the three of them lather and shave one another (using straights). I think it's with Shemp.

for the record, Matt, I think it was a Bunuel movie, in which Dali was very involved

Now, I am into art and have visited galleries around the world, read multiple books, seen movies, documentaries, etc - but I have to say I HAVE NOT seen this scene as I am not sure I can stomach it.

Two movies come to my mind. Sin City, when Dwight (Clive Owen) holds the straight to Jackie boy's ( Benicio Del Toro) neck telling him that he is out of his mind and he would carve him up if he bothered Shellie (Brittany Murphy) again.

And another is The color purple, when Celie (Whoopi Goldberg) is about to shave Albert (Danny Glover) and he tells her, if you cut me, I will kill you. (note: there was a hanging strop on the back of the rocking chair Albert was sitting in).

I would assume that when his Christmas present arrives that is what Josh will be saying every time he picks that beauty up.
