Ray, thank you so much for your hospitality and hard work hosting a great weekend. It was so much fun meeting all the ladies and gents who we converse with online but rarely get to meet in person. Big kudos and thanks to both Ray (and family) and Sham who fed us with style and grace. Fine food and fellowship was enjoyed by all and we are grateful for those who gave. If I was younger I'd probably remember better all those I met and enjoyed spending time with, here's a partial list. Ray, Chris, Mike, Sham, Kevin, Lee, Alex, Dave, Randy, Brian, Jeff, Justin, and many more who were there. Thank you all for making the drive. I greatly enjoyed spending time with you, hearing your stories, learning from you, observing your technique, learning about natural stones, restoration products, and a host of other things we discussed. Sincere thanks to all the companies and individuals who provided products for door prizes, I'll be thanking them individually by email. Next year if the Midwest Mafia gets together I'll definitely schedule time for both days. Too much fun to cram into one day! Kevin, you helped me stay awake on the long drive home, think I laughed for a good hundred miles. Your craft and your character separate you as one-of-a-kind! The leather work I saw on your phone is mind blowing to say the least.
    Looking forward to next year!

Wow, Ray! I can say I know how you feel! Tons of work and cat-herding for several weeks before. Then, hard to relax and enjoy it as you are always running around. Cleaning up and reorganizing after! Good on you for hosting. That is why I only do it once a year!

Chris just pulled out of the drive way for the final leg of the trip. He has asked me to let everyone know how much fun he has had and will post tomorrow. His wife has today off and he will be spending time with her. I am here home alone with a break job to do on the wife's truck I found out about on Saturday while there. She was kind enough to pick up the parts for me.
