Thanked: 3795Howard, do you need to request that anyone bring extra tables or chairs? I know you won't have much table space inside but maybe some could go outside.
We certainly need a Kringle table!
I know you're mainly going to be lighting fires rather than herding cats, but please let us know if there is anything you can think of for us to bring.

Thanked: 1Hi all, looks like this is going to be a great meet up. I started a new job this week so I won't be able to get away but I hope everyone enjoys their time here in central Iowa!

I am wondering if the diner will handle 18 plus people on top of their usual crowd. Saturdays can be popular breakfast days.
If you don't care where you are, you are not lost.

Hey Ron I,ll need a chair! The only room got is allowed to stones. Only seat I'll have is my bike , I guess I could park it in Howard's shop though.
Good man Dave, wouldn't be the same without Kringles! Tc“ I,m getting the impression that everyone thinks I have TIME to fix their bikes”

What are we going to do Friday afternoon after we arrive? Are we going to go to Howards for a short get together? Are we all going to eat together somewhere?
Billif anything has been abnormal for a long enough period it then becomes normal.

Thanked: 3795I'm thinking that might be a little too demanding on our hosts, but it is up to them.
An alternative would be to meet up at one of our motels and then go out to dinner and then again hang out at the motel again.
Alternatively, we could all go to The Garden Nightclub. It's been a while since I've been there but I'm pretty sure we'd fit right in!Last edited by Utopian; 05-24-2016 at 06:47 PM.

Thanked: 21You can come out Friday afternoon. Be advised there will be teenagers. My nephew who just graduates this weekend is coming out and bringing a friend. Show and tell stuff, come on down! I will have the griddle out, though there are no definite plans for it, I need to get it cleaned up for taking to Oklahoma D-Day paintball in a couple weeks anyway. I got the metallographic microscope running, and the place is not too bad, though the grass may be a little long. Not a lawn maintenance freak.
