Thanked: 2209I just booked a 2 bed/2 person room for May 27 & 28 at the
Sleep Inn & Suites , 5850 morning star ct. , Pleasant Hill, Iowa.
It is a bit expensive, $264 including tax total and non refundable. My bad.
Consider going to choicehotels.com and browsing for much better rates at other hotels . The other options scroll across the bottom of the screen.Last edited by randydance062449; 05-11-2016 at 08:05 PM.

If sufficiently bribed, I will bring Kringle's.

Thanked: 2209Actually, no.
Earlier in the thread I posted about a diner that is a short distance away, we can meet up there for breakfast or impose on Howard to use his griddle.Randolph Tuttle, a SRP Mentor for residents of Minnesota & western Wisconsin

The Home Plate Diner
Hi Randy and all.
On your post #117 you mentioned the Home Plate Diner on 30th St. about 4 miles West of the Sleep Inn where we could eat breakfast if we didn't want to eat at Howards. It is about one block South of where I am staying at the Econo Lodge, econo hmmm that is a play on words.
I did a street level view on Google Earth of the place and attached it to this post so you could see it. It looks pretty nice.
Cheers,
Billif anything has been abnormal for a long enough period it then becomes normal.
