    Loving the picture Mike,

Phrank does have some beautiful blue rocks. Labelled to boot! He's a great guy that Phrank is, letting you borrow his Escher. At least you will have that little one when you send his back.

HONE OF THE DAY - HOTD

    Nile Chemical Steel Japanese razor
    Shinden Suita (midrange)
    Koma nagura (prefinish)
Okudo Tomae with Diamond plate as Tomo(finisher)

This was more of a touch up on this razor because it just wasn't quite where I wanted it. Can't wait to test her out later.

HONE OF THE DAY - HOTD

Razors - Gold Dollar 66 (travel razor)
    Hayashi Diamond 1000

Shinden Suita w/ Tsushima Black tomo
    Ozuku Asagi Koppa w/unknown tomo

Tried something new and paired the Tsushima Black with the Suita and was really impressed with the results. The Ozuku hasn't been getting much attention lately but it is a great stone.

Nothing fancy, but after killing an edge and bringing it back to popping hairs on the Chosera 1k, I still like about 25 light laps on the old S1000 to smooth it a bit more before going to the 4/8k.

1K to 8k, eh? Hmmm, I'll have to give that a shot. My laziness is intrigued by skipping a couple stones.

I've been working on a Speed Honing Technique..... 1k then straight to 12K or natural finisher.... I'm still playing around, but it involves tape and no tape.
