Your pic looks good to me too. Here's some finger stones being flattened.
DMT plate, then...
Tsushima sea stone. It's a lot of work... Mike

Second run on this new Jnat. This Case Brothers was honed up to 12k and stropped a bunch. Gonna do about 300 laps on this stone diluting every 50. I tried the exact process last week and got a fantastic shave off this stone.

Thanksgiving greetings and best wishes gentlemen.
Touched up a Hisyakaku 500 on an orange kiita with a red streak. This razor is probably as close to a W&B FBU that was made in Japan. It's a 7/8 1/4 hollow-near wedge that is impeccably ground and finished. The edge is ground so thinly that the bevels almost vanish. The touch up was done with light tomo slurry followed by 25 clear water strokes.
Cheers, Steve

2 Iwasaki Tama Chans
Restored, polished & honed. Both Maru San but still hard as all get out. Sooo many hours hand sanding.
Apologies for camera phone. The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.
