I keep my turd submerged all the time, Tom.
Keep it in a ol coffee mug with some water in it. As long as its got somethin to suck on, its ready at all times.
Ooooh, but let it dry out, and yer gonna have to put up with all them slurpin, and bubblin noises for the next 15 minutes. Like a kid with a straw and empty glass.Mike

Honed this one up earlier, and took it to the shave den.
Perfect shave..!!
Razor had never been honed past factory edge, so one layer of tape to set the bevel on the 1000 Chosera, synthetic progression of 5,8,12, Naniwa SS, then finished on B/G Escher.

My latest Ern Ator needed a touch-up; it just wasn't up to par with my other Ators, which don't even feel like you're shaving until you're done and BBS smooth! So I got inspired when I found my multi-colored Norton Trans Ark buried in my sock drawer; I spent months looking for the damn thing! Anyway, I took it through my usual dry/running water/water with dish soap/WD-40 progression, and it's tree-topping arm-hairs smoothly-we'll see how it shaves.
