That knife is not organic enough to look good with wood scales....

    Does that make sense?

I'm not going to lie. The idea of making some burl scales for mine crossed my mind several times. But mine is a first production, so I'm going to leave it alone. An excuse to buy another one??

    Default New EDC set-up

My new EDC knives. The ZT 0566 is just a tad heavy but manageable. It's lightening fast to open and built like a tank. The little Gerber has an exposed cap lifter
which comes in handy for a bottle beer drinker like me. All smiles over here!

I've had this Queen Cutlery gunstock for years. Had the bolsters engraved some time ago becauseI knew this was a keeper.

However after a while I realized the edge was just too thick and It stayed in the drawer for years.

Last week I reground both blades, now they're lasers and the D2 zips through anything with easy, just the way I like it.

Best folding knife I've owned other than a custom that I don't own anymore.

This travel writing about the Thiers knife might interest some of you. Using a knife to cut a banana seems a bit of a reach, like using a fork and knife to eat a candy bar.
