    It's crossed my mind too John. My other mini grip I had been looking at and wondered if I could take it apart and do some cool burl scales. It would look awesome if I could do a good enough job. I will NOT do it to this new one.

    ? I thought the 551-1 was the smallest. It looks smaller than yours, but could be camera angles.

    Just looked it up. They are the exact same specs. Just different style of blade.

    Yup mines a mini. Cpm-20cv. Sheepsfoot profile with open thumb hole.

    The 550 is slightly larger

    Ya, I feel like yours is a 555-1. 551 is always the full size. Damn numbers! I couldn't get the steel type right either when I was typing it.

    Ahhh, I posted it wrong. It is 555-1. It's easy to get them all jumbled up!
