Washing Machine and Dryer for EDC knife test
My Kershaw Leek got ran through the clothes washer and dryer. IT FAILED.
I found the bigger parts but the little screws fell through the holes......
I propose this for and EDC knife test.
Run the test subject through the washer and dryer 20 times and if it doesn't come out unscathed it isn't worth carrying as EDC!

Thanked: 26I just put an edge on a Kershaw for a friend, along with several other knives. Man that was some tough steel! i ended up taking it to some cheap diamond plates of pretty harsh grit to get a nice bevel before refining it some.
8Cr13MoV Stainless Steel, i think i read its a Chinese steel, all in its meant to be a pretty good performer but man it was hard stuff.Last edited by stev; 03-22-2016 at 12:03 AM.
