Bread and water can so easily become tea and toast

I meant no one here had commented on the double yolker. I thought for sure Steph would pick up on it.

I noticed, but was trying to get ready for work and various other things so was not to chatty. So "Hey , a double yolker!" Those things are always a plus ! And I would not charge extra for that if it were my eatery. Life is tough enough for us peasants. when life hands you a bonus give humbly and accept humbly.

Lately I've been making simple breakfast burritos at home. Toss a little bulk sausage and some thinly sliced pepper and onion in a skillet, cook until the sausage is done, drop in a couple eggs, scramble in the pan. Heat a couple tortillas in the microwave. Put mix in tortillas, add a little cheese and a dash of hot sauce and you've got a meal.

I am dead beat tired tonight and sore to boot. Just cleaned up after a wedding at work.Absolutely nothing decent in the house save for some leftover pizza and some tea. So....I'm gonna hit it early tonight and then I'm getting up before dawn. Gonna light my pipe up with some good Virginia tobacco and then I'm gonna march on down to the store and get something decent for breakfast. There may even be an apple fritter in my near future, and there sure as heck is gonna be some sausage and vegemite toast.

Some sort of bread product, with a mite and cheese, toasted would be the order of the day, and really should be a side with a bowl of soup, mmmm dippy dippy cheesy toasty.
That's some comfort food right there.
Or just a bowl of custard.

It's always fun to hear what people call those potato nuggets. "Tater Tots" we call 'em.
