I have never seen them done in buns......

    Anyone ever use Bagels?

Take the cookie cutter and make the hole bigger, don't see why you couldn't?Only drawback is you wouldn't get near as much excess bread for dunking out of it.

On a side note,Dave's Killer breads are great and all naturaland healthy and all and the buns are just as good and a wee slight cheaper and Like I said I like the efficient factor of'em. One bun is two jack's ,works for me.

Those of us who can claim some Norwegian ancestry are becoming fewer in number all the time. Which means there is more Lutefisk for me! I'll give the Krauts credit, almost all of them will try it, in a way that makes it a kind of annual "right of passage", but few of them actually like it. And speaking of eating it with "accessories", my Norske grandfather always rolled his Lutefisk up in a piece of Lefse kind of like a Norwegian Burrito. The salsa was nothing but melted butter.
Here in Finland lutefisk is common only here in the western & southwestern coasts of the country. Lutefisk is totally unknown elsewhere.
The reason is that most folks in these SW parts have their roots in Sweden (+Germany etc) so they somewhat still have little bit different habits, manners and traditions than those living on the other parts of the country.
Most people here are bilingual (Fin/Swe) and some speak Swedish as their mother language.

Although majority of people in the other parts are also lutherian, there's much more influences from (orthodox) and eastern directions, even in cuisine. Here in SW it is impossible to find foods like muikkukukko although it's quite common elsewhere.
Lutefisk is not the only local only food or drink. While we eat kakko bread and drink punch every now and then, they are unknown elsewhere. Then again, we do not have foods like lörtsy or rieska or drink named sahti. Those are very everyday elsewhere.

However, i do not eat genuine lutefisk. Imho it smells like something that you could use for 'removing wallpapers or kill the raccoon dogs from your garden' (as we say here)

Given all that I have seen and heard about Lutfisk,I'm pretty certain I will never try it and I'm pretty certain I am okay with that. Cloudberry jam and waffles however is a much different and tastier story just my opinion though.

My favorite brand. Found the fig at whole paycheck. I love their jams and I never buy fruit yogurt anymore as this way I can customize my own flavor liking. Jams Are a very versatile condiment that really are under utilized ! Gourmet Jams & Jellies | Bonne Maman Fruit Preserves the bread was Daves killer white bread.....good stuff also.....http://www.daveskillerbread.com/#first-slide
