That settles it. If I ever get over that way again, I'm coming to your place for an education in the flavours of N. America. I have obviously got some gaps in my lernin'.

Coffee, rye bread with butter and homemade red-currant- and raspberry jam.
    Followed by more coffee.

Toast with butter, vegemite, fried egg and cheese on top, times two. A mug of white coffee to wash it down with, then out the door for a 50km ride.

After the Thanksgiving excesses, some healthier fare.
Lots of All Bran buds, with a bit of Just Right. Coffee rigorously black.

I just got back from the local supermarket, where I've picked up some healthier fare in the form of Carmens Fruit free Muesli and Kelloggs Bran flakes. My wife isn't the healthiest shopper on the planet, and I'm sick of feeding sugary junk food type cereal to the girls. The 'froot loops', 'rice bubbles', 'cheerios' (They're not bloody cheerios, cheerios are little red party sausages as far as I'm concerned!) are either used up or nearly used up, so I'm taking the opportunity to correcting the situation. She'll hate me for it, because the junk stuff is so much cheaper, but what cost do you put on good health?!
